How to Order Baby Clothes: Click Add to Basket when you find an outfit, which will allow you to pay securely via credit card online through Paypal, even if you don't have a Paypal account. If you prefer to pay offline by cheque/postal order, Copy the Paypal checkout page with all your purchases and email it to us at sales@smiles-by-post.com, and we'll reply with mailing instructions. See the postage table above for our shipping costs--bundles of baby clothes are surprisingly heavy, but we have a built in cost incentive for larger orders. We also ship to Europe and the USA, email your order for a shipping quote.
We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours. Small UK orders will be sent by first class post, larger orders will be sent by standard parcels service and may take upto 3-5 days after dispatch to arrive.
Condition: All baby clothes are washed in non-biological washing powder and hypoallergenic fabric conditioner and freshly ironed before dispatch. They are kept in a smoke-free, pet-free environment. Unless otherwise stated, our baby clothes are secondhand but most of the items we choose have been worn/washed so little that they appear as new. However, certain fabrics such as fleece do show some bobbling after just one wash.
Items are subject to availability: The listings are unique, and we remove them from the site as soon as possible after someone orders them, but we reserve the right to cancel parts of orders if items are no longer available, and will refund accordingly.
We replace items shortly after they're bought in order to maintain as wide a range of items as possible - so do check back regularly to see what's new!
Other policies: For offline orders, we will wait until cheques clear before shipping. Unfortunately returns can only be allowed at our discretion for instances such as misdescription of item, though this policy does not affect your statutory UK consumer rights.
